All donations will support DOC Cares' flagship education initiative, the Dreams Experience Academy (DEA) — an innovative 501(c)(3) integrated community-based learning program and student-led professional services business.

 

DEA is dedicated to equipping underrepresented youth in grades 7–12, who are enrolled in school, with the tools and pathways needed to pursue careers in the $3 trillion combined Media, Entertainment, and Technology industries. By investing in these students, DEA also helps the host community accelerate economic independence and close a long-standing generational opportunity gap.

With initial backing from the Dallas Regional Chamber and The Dallas Foundation, DEA was recognized in its first year of development (pre-launch) by D Magazine and Dallas Innovates with the 2025 D CEO INNOVATION AWARD IN EDUCATION. We were honored to share our category with finalists including Texas A&M University and Paul Quinn College.

Your donation will fuel the rapid implementation of our DEA plan, and help us meet an ambitious timeline to provide our kids with the skills, platform, and access to claim their seat at the table — and deliver generational results beginning in Southern Dallas.
